Defining the future, vision aids us. It's about movement, towards a goal, growth or success. Vision must address people’s needs, be easy to understand, scalable and growing, lead to success, and stir emotions.

See it first and then orient everyone else towards it. Invest the time for creating and communicating a forward-looking, shared meaning. Vision is pragmatic and functional, otherwise it is a dream or illusion only.

Take the company's roadmap and make it relevant for your team. Provide context to make it a reality. If people and employees react to a vision without really buying it they just nod their heads and pay lip service. 

Visionaries communicate possibility. By staying focused on the direction, they can inspire others to be equally positive, allowing a team to cohere and break through setbacks, as well as achieving greater engagement. 

Can a strong and happy family be built without a vision around love, respect and care? Without vision, the family life would be social change with little chance for real happiness. Actively keep the vision alive through action.
