The International Week of Happiness at Work is a Dutch initiative, launched in 2018, by Maartje Wolff and Fennande van der Meulen, together with Martin Leroy from Argentina. Following a successful welcoming of the idea across the world, over 30 countries have embraced the concept, from Hongkong to Iceland.
Every year, The International Week of Happiness takes place during the last week of September. This is the time when we invite everybody to put the topic on the agenda of your organisation.
Happiness is a tool, not a goal, that can help us better understand what we care about, what we value. It can tell us whether things are going well, which should motivate us to stay engaged at key moments.
HandsOn coaching is also an advocate of this initiative, facilitating for Happiness at Work to be on the priority list of all organisations, big and small, national and international.
